Liberation Based Therapy in Washington State

Hi! My name is Jade, and I am an associate social worker who works with various forms of trauma and identity based challenges. I am licensed to provide psychotherapy in Washington. I work with individuals & couples, and also facilitate support groups.

In my free time, I’m a home chef who sometimes knits, plays video games for too long in one sitting, and is deeply fascinated with the science of fermentation.

During therapy sessions, you can expect a mix of theoretical approaches, and I prioritize incorporating play and art whenever possible (yes, adults deserve to play too). If that means working on our crafts together or playing Mahjong or Minecraft during a session, then that’s what we get to do.

This is a space where you can show up as yourself and feel no need to mask any parts, perform some weird professionalism acrobatics, or bend to respectability politics.
